  8. Snitch is a Freeware utility that checks your system, then reports:
  9.  
  10. a) your machine name
  11. b) your processor chip type
  12. c) the presence (or absence) of an FPU
  13. d) amount of RAM installed
  14. e) system software version
  15. f) monitor size (in pixels)
  16. g) 32-bit addressing capability

  20. Snitch is most useful when buying a used Macintosh — run it and watch the seller's face go bright red when Snitch disputes the presence of a 68060 chip with dual overhead FPUs.
